Goodwill Hunting
last night I had two dreams, the first one I went to a town that looked like it could have been somewhere in Chiapas or Oaxaca, I was searching for my brother and saw my father with some of his friends at a typical tourist type restaurant bar, I told him I couldnt find my brother so he went off to look for him too, after a while they came back but the streets had flooded so they had a hard time crossing the street, then it turned out my brother was the violinist at the restaurant, after that I went to the nearby mechanic and asked him if I could help fix his car, it was saturday night and the shop was closed but the mechanic was working on his car which looked like a really busted Ford Anglia, now the mechanich was kinda lazy and like to put things off for later so I didnt like that about him, but he knew mechanics, so I asked and he said yes, you can go put the battery back in the car, so first I cleaned the battery area with gasoline to get all the dirt and grease off, then I placed the battery and screwed all the parts, I told the mechanic I had finished so he checked it out and turned the motor on and the stereo on and it all worked perfectly he looked really happy, the mechanics son came out too, and they were both really happy, they acted like costumers that have no idea how cars work and we you fix them their car they have really greatful faces, so I thought to myself, these guys arent that bad, theyre just lazy and dont clean parts when they have a chance... after that dream I had another short one, I boarded what looked like a taxi but the inside looked like a Suburban van and on the back seat of the taxi was a girl I knew from when I lived in Cd. del Carmen, her father had been borrowed from the mexican navy to run the oil company port, so I said to her, "what a miracle, where have you been?" then she started to give me a list of city´s the only one that stuck in my mind was Guadalajara and then I woke... by the way the whole dashboard had been constructed by the mechanic or some local because it was all plastic wire type... even the stereo had plastic wire to hold it...
